I have just had a total hip replacement under the fantastic surgeon Mr.Philip Heaton and his team.I cannot fault surgical ward one and their outstanding staff,nothing was too much trouble,they all worked as a team and were professional at all times.If you are going to have Mr.Heaton as your surgeon for your upcoming surgery,then all I can say is what a faultless,calm,patient man!Mr.Heaton explained everything from start to finish and stressed the importance of completing physio afterwards. Thankyou very much to all involved in my care.

Absolutely brilliant from beginning to end - the care was efficient, relaxed and friendly. If I had to go anywhere it would be to Grantham every time. Again I cannot recommend the hospital highly enough - if only everywhere was run this effectively.

Brilliant hospital Brilliant staff they couldn't do enough for me everything you needed was done I can't recommend Grantham hospital orthopaedics enough the care was outstanding even the lady who was doing the cleaning and making cups of tea was fabulous she would make us an extra cuppa when we were gasping lol thank you Grantham hospital

I had a hip replacement carried out by Mr Phil Heaton, everything was explained to me before and after the procedure. I couldn't fault the care I received.

I have had several reasons to visit Grantham Hospital, over a number of years, for my wife, other family members and myself. It has to rate as one of the nation's friendliest and most efficient hospitals, with caring, considerate staff in every department: doctors, nurses, technicians, therapists and administrators. Car parking is easy and convenient (thank you for lowering the prices recently - that is a real help too) and the hospital's (mostly) single level nature makes it easy for wheelchair users also. Grantham Hospital has a great number of local people who have good reason to be grateful for its existence and we all hope and pray it will remain there to care for those of us who need its quality of care.
